A former top executive of a major NYSE Fortune 200 company from 1972-1985 and since 1985 owner of many businesses in the US, Canada and Australia, Brook was Republican Candidate for the US Senate and had stints in the Regan and Bush administrations as a domestic and international business advisor. Over the years he has developed many personal contacts with owners and CEO’s of major US, Canadian, Australian and European companies; he advises on strategy, business acquisitions and divestments, and business integration.

Denis holds degrees in economics and law from Macquarie University and the University of Cambridge (LLM). He has practised law in Sydney, London and Hong Kong for 34 years, been a partner in leading American and English law firms for 25 years and is admitted to practise law in New South Wales, England & Wales, Hong Kong and the British Virgin Islands. His experience includes international project & finance work for major institutions, including infrastructure and energy projects, both in major centres and emerging and transitional economies. He also works with non-institutional clients such as borrowers, developers and investee companies looking to expand into markets such as Asia, the CIS, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and advises on business reorganisations and expansion. He draws on his extensive transactional, regulatory and tax expertise in these projects and has worked with Crescor on corporate advisory work and on financing affordable housing.

HEIDI NOUJEIM

A brand strategy and marketing communications professional with 20 years’ international experience, Heidi is skilled in identifying the important quantitative / qualitative research insights that set the stage for more effective brand and marketing activity. Her ability to work with business managers and their sales and marketing teams helps to bring brand strategy to life through customer experience, content, and communications.

JANET GILBERT

Admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales, the ACT and New Zealand, Janet has many years’ experience in Employment and Industrial Relations Law, and HR. She advises employers and business managers on a wide range of ER/IR issues, Federal and State legislation, terms of employment, Work Health & Safety, Workers’ Compensation; enterprise agreement drafting & negotiations, underpayment claims. Janet manages employment related litigation and Work Health and Safety prosecutions, including over 150 claims covering unfair dismissals and general protection claims and disputes; achieving excellent outcomes for clients. She also regularly deals with the Fair Work Ombudsman, the Australian Human Rights Commission, the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board and the Administrative Decisions Tribunal. She prepares workplace policies & procedures and template letters & tools, in response to changing business or legislative or requirements and conducts industrial legal research and bench-marking. She holds a current practicing certificate.

John’s background includes service as a Royal Navy Navigation Officer, followed by a career in finance, banking and insurance, product development and management consulting. Analytical and people-focused, John is skilled at combining the insights gained from market research with financial and technical analysis and human insights, to produce practical, common sense solutions and innovative strategic thinking. His expertise includes business analytics, business improvement and strategic development.

Having started his career in financial services, for the past 20 years Julian has been a Director and consultant to a range of SMEs. This has included starting and acquiring his own businesses. His  experience ranges from financial services to retailing; from engineering and instrumentation to sustainable technologies; from social networking to property development. He brings logic, business analytics and problem solving  skills to help organisations with strategy, business prioritisation & corporate health checks, operational and process efficiency and in recognising and managing risk. He also has experience in business & product development, marketing, sales and deal negotiation.

LIZ WALKER – LIZ WALKER RESEARCH

LWR is a market research consultancy specialising in both Qualitative and Quantitative research. Liz Walker is a communication specialist with over 25 years of marketing experience. The consultancy delivers high level strategic marketing plans to clients in health services, tertiary education and the not for profit sector, and to date has conducted major market research projects in conjunction with Crescor for seven of its clients. Each of these studies comprised a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and enabled the development of detailed marketing plans and communications strategies.

PAUL MARTIN

An Associate Professor at University of New South Wales and University of Sydney, who teaches finance and risk management, Paul is also a CPA who has held number of senior banking positions in international financial markets. Paul was founder and General Manager of financial research house SIRCA. He has a particular expertise in start-up organisations, financial services product development, and risk management.
